Social Business is a double-blind peer-reviewed interdisciplinary journal which seeks to provide a forum for the exchange of knowledge, experience, insights and ideas about the theory and practice of social business. It is currently in its 12th Volume (2022) and is rated B in the Australian Business Deans Council Journal Quality List.
Expressions of Interest in Editing Social Business
Expressions of interest should be sent to Dr Anne Foy and should consist of a maximum 2 pages of A4 including:
- A statement of Editorial intent, indicating the Editor(s) vision for the journal.
- An indication of the Editor(s) prior experience with the editorial process, and evidence of engagement with relevant networks.
- Proposals for soliciting contributions and commissioning special issues.
Applicants should also include a copy of their CV including a list of prior publications.
Applications from individuals or a team of individuals are equally welcome, and applicants need not be based at the same institution. The Journal peer-review process is run through the ScholarOne Manuscripts system and is set up to use an Editor/Associate Editor review model. The journal Editorial Office is able to provide extensive assistance, but applicants should ideally have institutional support for taking on such a role. Appointments would be on the basis of a 3-year term, and a small budget is available for Editor expenses.
